2020 London Duathlon Postponed
To our London Duathlon community,
We hope that you are well and coping with the unique challenges that lockdown has presented to you, your family and your friends.
We can confirm today that the 2020 edition of the London Duathlon has been rearranged to April 2021, subject to final permissions. We are working with the local authorities and stakeholders to confirm and finalise the precise date. We anticipate this new date being confirmed before the end of September 2020. We will update you with that date as soon as we have the final confirmations.
We have been regularly monitoring the COVID-19 situation, liaising with relevant authorities to ascertain the impact of the pandemic and listening to your participant feedback regarding the event going ahead. Based on the continuation of limits to the number of people able to gather in public, and the ongoing nature of the pandemic, we do not feel it would be appropriate to proceed with a public event in Richmond Park at this time. We understand that this will be very disappointing, if not unexpected news.
However, we do have some positive news! Your entry will be automatically deferred to the rearranged date when we hope that you will join us for what will be a very special edition of the London Duathlon.
Your ongoing support for the London Duathlon is greatly appreciated during these difficult times and we look forward to welcoming you to the start line next year. For more information and to read our FAQs, please click here.
